"My name is Justin Cole, I started training with Jay Horn in March of 2015. Which was the defining moment when I decided to take my body's health more seriously (no more excuses). That month was the the biggest kick in the pants I never saw coming. I would wake up in the morning and realize.... "shit, today is leg day" every week! Which meant knowing full well that I would be walking from machine to machine looking like a toddler taking its first steps, then taking advantage of the stair rail after the workout so I could safely make it downstairs. After that month Jay asked if I'd like to compete in a physique competition on his team. I saw this as an opportunity to learn more about my body and to what levels I could push it because Jay taught me a lot throughout the time he trained me. Everything that I learned from Jay is implemented in my workouts I do now.
Which are, to keep it short:
1. No bitchass-ness
2. Maximum effort with every set every rep
3. Staying natural is the best route
4. Diet is important too, if you're into that sort of thing 🌮
